1. Begin with a 500 x 500 px file (recommended). Type in the text that you want in 3D. Choose the colour of your choice and Rasterize the layer (right-click on the text layer and select Rasterize Layer). |

2. Next to give movement to the text, hold Ctrl and hit T to Free Transform the object. While holding Ctrl, Alt, and Shift, drag one of the bottom two corners outwards far enough for the text to seem a bit "zoomy". |

3. Next, hold Alt and hit the Up arrow on your keyboard. Keep doing it until you get the depth wished. After doing so, hide the top and the background layer and select any one of the bottom layers (below the top layer), hold Shift + Ctrl and hit E to merge every layer together except for the top and background layer.

4. Finally, un-hide the top and the background layer. Double click on the layer above the background layer to customize its blending options. Change the colour to the one that suits you best. Click OK.
