NEW YORK Nakuz Apparel Inc. is a clothing company producing Urban Menswear. Nakuz was started as a (clothing) line for the discerning urban man. The urge to create cutting-edge clothing that would be instantly distinguished from the ordinary brought together this innovative team of designers.
When searching for a name that would not only fuel the ego, but also inspire the individual, we felt that the name Nakuz would be an ideal fit.
The name Nakuz carries weight. It is derived from the term "Naku." Naku is a colloquial Persian term that represents strength, power, and wisdom. In addition to the definitions previously mentioned, Nakuz is also said to stand for:
Brave man, Strong-man, a man of wisdom,
and a Courageous warrior.
With the turn of the century now upon us, fashion trends will not find their roots sprouting from the fashion houses of London, Paris, or even Milan.
